PokeGen is a newly known project but have actually been in development for some time. It is a Free Action RPG game that gets its inspiration from both the Pokemon Anime and Game franchises.
The game takes place in the Pokemon universe and its story helps bridge the gap between the Red, Blue, Yellow and the Gold,m Silver, Crystal game storylines.
Thought not actually an MMO, the game does allow for a degree of Multiplayer interaction which imo would be how an Official Pokemon MMO would really work if it was created.
The game is in full 3D and its graphics compared to other pokemon fan-made games is very impressive.
The project is live for people to play and is Free-2-Play, and it currently in a live development stages working out bugs and refining the game with regular updates.
I would highly recommend that everyone try this game even once to see what its like, in the coming year I expect this game to get very well known in the Pokemon Fan Circles.
